Audrey and Karl have been personally visiting the Navajo Reservation for almost 3 decades. They meet with Native American artists and as jewelers themselves they hand pick and inspect each piece to make sure the stones and craftsmanship are only of the finest level for their clients. JET
Jet Stone is an organic rock that is created when pieces of woody material are buried, compacted, and then go through organic degradation. It is then heated, and what results is a coal seam.
It’s usually black in color, but there are also brown-colored Jet Stones. It can be easily cut or carved, and it has a uniform texture that makes it possible to carve with accuracy.
